This was my first Studio Work, and it was not very successful. I was not able to do what I was thinking of. I drew a girl string with a pink dress, and flowers all around her.
Strengths:
My strength in this drawing was the colors. I really like the pink, brown and beige together. I also like how the dress is the brightest art of the drawing, so it shows the most.The dress was the good part of the drawing.
Weaknesses:
I had a lot of weaknesses in this piece. The background was messy. I was not able to show a lot of details in the girls today. I did not do different values to make it realistic.The hair and the body were also a weakness. They needed to look realistic and more detailed.
Media- Process:
In this piece used mostly paint. I had to outline somethings with pencil and sharpie. First I drew the whole drawing with pencil, ( girl and background flowers) then I went over it with the paint.
Development for next piece:
I also drew dresses in my Studio Work 2. I also focused on the same colors. I used some shades of pink, black and brown. I tried making the hair and face more realistic with a lot more of details.
Critique:
I did not like this piece at all. i will try to develop something related to it, but better for my next work.
